Rachel Takes Beauty, Eating Healthy, & Fashion

Here’s a recent interview Rachel has done talking about her beauty regimes, her fitness and eating healthy and some of her favorite fragrances!!

Which beauty products do you swear by?
I love the Ren skincare range. It’s chemical-free and really helps keep my skin clear. I’m lucky that I’ve never suffered with acne but I noticed my skin has changed a lot in my 30s and I’ve become prone to getting a massive spot now and then.

What’s your number one beauty tip?
Always take your make-up off at night. I don’t have as much time as I did before I had my children (Rachel is mum to Amelie, three, and six-month-old Minnie) so facial wipes are brilliant. Diet can really affect how you look too so I make sure I eat well.

Do you diet?
No. I left all the dieting behind in my 20s. I’m really interested in nutrition and eating food that makes me feel good – apart from when I was pregnant and craved Big Macs! I eat a lot of vegetables, brown rice and sweet potatoes. I stay away from white carbs and that’s helped with losing baby weight – although I didn’t gain a lot with Minnie. My guilty pleasure is an Indian takeaway but I eat it without the rice and bread.

What’s your fitness regime like?
Non-existent at the moment, but I am going to start hitting the gym again. When I’m in the gym, I do a lot of circuit training – short bursts of exercise using my own body weight. I also enjoy Pilates.

Which make-up products do you always carry in your handbag?
I love Giorgio Armani Luminous Bronze Tinted Moisturiser foundation. It gives me a real sun-kissed glow. If I’m looking tired, I whack that on and instantly feel like I’ve just come back from holiday. I also always carry mascara. My favourite is Benefit They’re Real mascara, which makes my lashes look so much longer.

What’s the most you’ve spent on a single item?
When I turned 30, I treated myself to a Chanel handbag, which was very pricey. I won’t say how much! But if you buy designer classics, they will stand the test of time. I can pass my Chanel handbag on to my daughters!

Who is your fashion icon?
I think Victoria Beckham always looks impeccable. I love her fashion range. She’s carved out an amazing career as well as being a brilliant mum. She’s very inspiring.

What’s your signature fragrance?
Narciso Rodriguez, which I’ve worn for 10 years. It has a musky but not overpowering scent. I love it. I’ve also recently discovered Jo Malone Oud & Bergamot. It’s a lovely, citrusy fragrance.

Would you ever have cosmetic surgery?
Never say never! One day I might feel I need a little bit. But at the moment I’m happy as I am.

Rachel at Junior Fashion Awards

As previously announced Rachel went to judge at the annual Junior Fashion Awards, This is the fourth year Rachel has partaken in this event.

Below you can find a very brief interview with Rachel (and the other judges) about the show!

Rachel on Channel 4’s ‘Celeb Hunter’

Rachel is scheduled to appear on Channel 4’s Celeb Hunters tonight! It would seem as if this was filmed back in October when Rachel was at the Wedding Dress exhibit show, but i could be wrong. Be sure and tune in tonight and catch Rachel!! Hopefully we get a video of it.

On Channel 4 tonight at 10pm I’ll be interviewed on Chris Stark’s Celeb Hunter show.

Chris puts together his own mobile chat show armed only with his dad’s camping chairs. He and his mates have gone to the pub and put together their ultimate list of famous faces, including Elton John, Derek Akorah, Verne Troyer, Ricky Hatton, Johnny Knoxville and Carol Vorderman.

He’s out to prove that celebrities are normal people and if you talk to them like you’re having a pint down your local they really are just normal people.

Eventually through persistence, a lot of loitering and crashing a wedding show (to find me!) – we catch up!

Rachel was on hand at Cosmo’s Ultimate Woman of the Year Awards earlier tonight, Click the picture above to proceed to our gallery, hopefully we get more pictures in soon! Here’s the article from Daily Mail, and i must say Rachel’s getting good at hiding that bump, and she looks ABSOLUTELY flaw-free.

It can be tricky finding new and exciting ways to dress for an event and it’s even harder if you’re pregnant. But Rachel Stevens certainly didn’t looked phased by the challenge when she attended the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Of The Year Awards at the V&A on Thursday. In fact the 35-year-old, who is expecting her second child, showed everyone who was boss as she dress like she meant business with slicked back hair and a sharp suit jacket. However the masculine touches didn’t distract from her baby bump, which she showed off her in a stunning black dress, featuring lace detail.

Over her shoulders the star, who is expected to welcome her child at the start of 2014, draped the tuxedo style jacket and she completed her looked with stunning dark eye-make up and elegant gold drop earrings. Her stunning look didn’t go unnoticed either as Harry Judd told the MailOnline that Rachel was his pin up when he was growing up. The former S Club 7 singer, who was on hand to present the Ultimate Men Award to Ant, told the MailOnline: ‘I am presenting the ultimate man award. My ultimate man would have to be my husband of course, but David Gandy, he is not unattractive in the slightest!’ And as she arrived on the red carpet she opened up about women she admired, telling us: ‘ I think Nicole Scherzinger is pretty fearless, she’s amazing she just doesn’t care. She just goes out there and she is super strong and feisty women and she is very inspirational. Someone who just goes out there and is themselves is great.

It was just Nicole who she had kind words for though – it spread to the whole X Factor family.
‘It’s lovely to see all the X Factor people, I said to Sam bailey that she makes me cry every Saturday night,’ she said. ‘I would love to be an X Factor judge, I had the opportunity to do it in New Zealand. I am a massive fan and would love to do it, and am always screaming at the TV on a Saturday night. If they asked me back then definitely I would love to do it.’ Asked who she is backing to win, she revealed: ‘I hate being put on the spot but Sam Bailey! Sam bailey all the way, I think she is brilliant and such an amazing talent and I think that’s what the show is all about, without sounding clichéd, she is a pretty inspirational women I think.’

OFFICIAL: Rachel talks London Fashion Week

Rachel has posted a blog on her official website where she talks Victoria Beckham, New York Fashion Week, and London Fashion Week!

Being a big fan of fashion, I’m excited that it’s the start of the shows again! I’ve been keeping my eye on the New York Fashion Week catwalk updates and already, in my head, I’ve started planning my shopping trips and outfits for next season!

Victoria Beckham’s Spring Summer ’14 show earlier this week was a favourite for me. She’s achieved huge credibility with her collections, is a great role model and a hard working Mum and I love the fact that she surprised everyone with new shapes and a more relaxed style and got great reviews to boot – and yes, seeing her gorgeous little girl sat FROW was very cute too!

She was also pictured in that beautiful Burberry, heart shirt recently which I love – I’ve got my eye on the beautiful heart bag too …

Not long now until the shows hit London and everyone will be whipped into a fashion frenzy. I’m counting down the days!

Tis the season for new Rachel pictures <3

A Weekend With Rachel Stevens

Here’s a random Interview from Express with Rachel describing a typical weekend.

Singer Rachel Stevens topped the charts with hits such as Don’t Stop Movin’ and Reach as part of pop group S Club 7.

She later found success as a solo artist, with the single Sweet Dreams My LA Ex reaching number two in the charts. In 2008 she finished in second place on Strictly Come Dancing. Rachel, 35, lives in north London with her husband Alex, 36, and two-year-old daughter, Amelie.

“On a Friday night, Alex and I tend to stay in after Amelie has gone to bed at 7pm and just chill out. if we are lucky, one of Amelie’s grannies will take her for an overnight stay, so we can go out to dinner or see friends and have a lie-in the next day. Both our families live close by which is handy.

“Saturday is very much ‘entertain Amelie day’. We will either go to parties with her friends, or take her to Hampstead heath for a walk or to a park to play. in the afternoon when she is napping, I may catch up with my reading, or online shopping, which is always dangerous! I’m interested in moving into fashion design, so I love keeping up with trends and studying magazines for the latest must-haves.

“On Saturday night we may stay in – alex is the cook and I help him with the preparation. we are both foodies and love trying out new restaurants, so if we have the chance we will go out for dinner. Benares in mayfair is very good.

“On Sunday morning we tend to go out to brunch and either meet friends at a cafe near Hampstead or just hang out with Amelie. in the afternoon, we regularly have Sunday tea parties for the family.

“In the evening, I like to just relax with a box set, such as Breaking Bad, or a movie.”
