Facts

• Rachel’s two front teeth are false, her original two were knocked out as a result of a car accident.

• Rachel’s father, Michael, complained about Rachel not giving him money, calling her ungreatful and an ugly person. Micheal embarrassed Rachel as he released a tell-all book on how to pick up hookers in London, the book to date, is out of print and hard to find.

• Rachel is Jewish but still participates in Christmas (such as S Club’s “Perfect Christmas”, the Christmas Special, the release of “Do They Know It’s Christmas” etc) and is spotted every year hitting the shops, shopping for Christmas presents.

• Rachel’s debut single “Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex” was written for Britney Spears as a responce to Justin Timberlakes “Cry Me A River”, the song was presented to Spears the same time as “Toxic”.

• In 2004 “Fools” was rewritten and rerecorded to a less raunchy version for the Disney release of “Princess Diaries 2″, The song is not featured in the American release of the movie, but in the European release the original (raunchy) version is featured in the ending credits

• Rachel wrote a lot of songs for the release of her second album, including several b-sides, Rachel claimed she would not put out a pop song if it was not good, regardless of weather she wrote it or not. Several Rachel songs to date, remain unreleased including the much talked about track “Nothing in Common”, written with Richard-X.

• Rachel’s 2004 cover of “More More More” was released as the fourth single from Rachel’s debut album, the song was featured in Sky Sports ad’s and remixed for the single release. Rachel’s version charted higher than the original and every cover of the song sense.

• Rachel was not invited to participate in the release of “Do They Know It’s Christmas”, but simply showed up for the shoot of the music video.

• Although Rachel has not released a Children in Need single as a solo artist, she has participated in Children in Need related events and concerts.

• Rachel’s song “Crazy Boys” off her second album, was written to accompany “Some Girls”, the meaning of both “Some Girls” and “Crazy Boys” is left to the imagination of the listener according to Richard-X, but are both apparently written about sex.

• Rachel was represented by both 19 Management and Polydor records from 1999 until 2008 before her contract by both companies were both terminated. Rachel is now represented by Finch & Partners and has no record company.

• In 2009, at Rachel’s wedding it was reported none of the six members of her former band were invited to the wedding, but apparently the band’s hit song “Never Had A Dream Come True” was played at the wedding, Rachel later shot this down saying it was a completely religious wedding.

• Rachel and her fiance Alex Bourne went to school together and met up in 2006 while both in L.A. preparing to become actors! The two broke up in January of 2008 but at some point got back together before getting engaged the weekend of June 6, 2008!

• Rachel put her wedding to Alex on hold to participate in Strictly Come Dancing

• In 2009, Phil Ashcroft was voted off The Weakest Link for not knowing the following Rachel Stevens related question “Which Ex-S Club singer had hits like ‘Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex and More More More”. Ashcroft said he knew the answer but his mind went blank!
