Rumor: Rachel Stevens to Headline Manchester Pride

With the recent performances of Rachel (including her stint at Proud Embankment over the Christmas holiday) or her recent performance with Gary Barlow ) it seems Rachel has gotten the bug for performing. This has sparked a slew of rumors of both a S Club reunion and a return to solo music.

Recently an article has published that Manchester Pride is going to return this summer and there is a short list of artists believed to be in talks to perform at the event, including, none other than Rachel Stevens. Other artists named include: Sam Smith, Lucy Spraggan, Michelle Visage, and Olly Alexander from Years & Years.

Just last year former External singer Louise Redknapp relaunched her solo career following some festival performances and released her first album in twenty years just last year!

Rachel Stevens performs “Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex” with Gary Barlow

Earlier this year Take That’s Gary Barlow announced he was beginning a Big Reunion style television show and hoped to get S Club 7 to take part in the series. The story was widely reported in the UK press earlier this year, however, no further information has been made available.

However, it does seem that Gary has been in talks with members of S Club as earlier today he released a video that featured Rachel on his YouTube channel and the duo sung a rendition of Rachel’s debut single “Sweet Dreams My L.A. Ex” and Rachel sounds absolutely stunning.
